The three examples below shows Pope Francis sustained emphasis on the Liturgical Books.
What are the Liturgical Books? Typically, there are seven: the Missal, the Pontifical, the Liturgy of the Hours (in earlier editions called the Breviary ), the Ritual, the Martyrology, the Gradual, and the Antiphonary. The books are first published in Latin (Editio Typicae), translated in other languages by the relevant commissions, then published in these languages (see here this process for the USA).
The collection of Gregorian melodies for Mass was renovated by the Ordo Cantus Missae of June 24, 1972 and made available by the publication of the new Roman Gradual (Graduale Romanum) in 1974.
Example 1: On Feb. 14, 2019, Pope Francis met participants in the plenary assembly of the Vatican Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments that is discussing the liturgical formation of the people of God.
…on 8 May 1969, Saint Paul VI wished to establish the then Congregatio pro Cultu Divino, in order to give shape to the renewal desired by Vatican Council II. It was a matter of publishing the liturgical books according to the criteria and decisions of the Council Fathers, with a view to fostering, in the People of God, “active, conscious and pious” participation in the mysteries of Christ (cf. Constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium, 48). The praying tradition of the Church needed renewed expressions, without losing anything of its millennial wealth, even rediscovering the treasures of its origins. […] We know that it is not enough to change the liturgical books to improve the quality of the liturgy. To do this alone would be a deception. For life to be truly a praise pleasing to God, it is indeed necessary to change the heart. […] Here we find also the challenge of formation, the specific object of your reflection. […] The Catechism of the Catholic Church itself adopts the mystagogical way to illustrate the liturgy, valuing its prayers and signs. Mystagogy: this is a suitable way to enter the mystery of the liturgy, in the living encounter with the crucified and risen Lord. Mystagogy means discovering the new life we have received in the People of God through the Sacraments, and continually rediscovering the beauty of renewing it. […] Regarding the stages of formation, we know from experience that, in addition to the initial phase, it is necessary to cultivate the ongoing formation of the clergy and laity, especially those who are involved in the ministries serving the liturgy.

Example 2: In July 2021, Letter to the Bishops as introduction to the Traditionis Custodes Motu Proprio.
At the same time, I ask you to be vigilant in ensuring that every liturgy be celebrated with decorum and fidelity to the liturgical books promulgated after Vatican Council II, without the eccentricities that can easily degenerate into abuses. Seminarians and new priests should be formed in the faithful observance of the prescriptions of the Missal and liturgical books, in which is reflected the liturgical reform willed by Vatican Council II.

Example 3: In July 2022, Apostolic Letter Desiderio Desideravi.
31. (…) For this reason, as I already expressed in my letter to all the bishops, I have felt it my duty to affirm that “The liturgical books promulgated by Saint Paul VI and Saint John Paul II, in conformity with the decrees of Vatican Council II, are the unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.” (Motu Proprio Traditionis custodes, art 1)
61.(…) The holy pontiffs St. Paul VI and St. John Paul II, 18 approving the reformed liturgical books ex decreto Sacrosancti Œcumenici Concilii Vaticani II, have guaranteed the fidelity of the reform of the Council. For this reason I wrote Traditionis custodes, so that the Church may lift up, in the variety of so many languages, one and the same prayer capable of expressing her unity.
