ICEL ink to the 2011 Roman Missal music: http://www.icelweb.org/musicfolder/openmusic.php
Most tones of the Roman Missal use melodies that followed “archaïc modes” that are even more ancient than solfege (created in the 11th century). With the “Movable Do” these ancient melodies can be written in at least two different ways on a staff (remember the 1-2-3-4-5 melody from the test?).
Many may find the Do-Re-Mi option easier than the So-La-Ti that is printed in the Missal. That is what we offer both here.
Fast forward to: Lord Have Mercy, Glory to God, Preface Dialogue, Memorial Acclamation, Doxology and Amen, Our Father.

OUR FATHER
Most worship aids in US parishes do not print the Our Father from the Roman Missal, but the chant version by Robert Snow which has been widely adopted. The downloadable file below is a good example of the use of Movable Do: the OCP version (#13) has the Do in the space between the 1st and second line, with the melody on DO-RE-MI while the WLP version has the Do on the second line, with the melody on SO-LA-TI.
